If you are interested in submitting an abstract for the meeting, kindly read and follow the guidelines.

Submission
Before submitting an abstract, a user profile needs to be created for the submitting/presenting author at https://wcs2026.com/login. One or several abstracts can be submitted from the author’s user profile. Each submission can have up to three co-authors. During submission, you will be required to choose between Paper (podium presentation) or Poster.
Abstracts should be submitted only through the meeting’s website, www.wcs2026.com. Submissions made by email or post will not be considered.

Abstract Structure and Language
All abstracts should be in English. Kindly use font Arial, font size 12. Text body should be limited to 500 words and the title should not exceed 120 characters (with spaces).
The abstracts should be structured under the headings: Background, Methods, Results and Conclusions.

This section should state the purpose and objective of the research, outline the hypothesis being tested, or describe the problem that is being analysed or evaluated.

Methods:
Here, you should describe the study design, the study population, the data collection methods, and the methods of analysis employed. Please do not mention the author name or affiliation directly or indirectly in the text.

Results:
In this section, present the findings or outcomes of the study clearly and in detail, summarizing specific results.

Conclusions:
This part should briefly discuss the data and main outcomes of the study. Emphasize the significance of the findings in the care of children with congenital hand differences.

Abstract Review & Selection
All submitted abstracts will be evaluated through a blinded peer-review process. Each abstract will be assessed by at least two reviewers to ensure a robust evaluation.

The Programme Committee will make the final selection of abstracts. The highest-scoring submissions will be chosen for oral presentation, while the remaining abstracts will be displayed in the Poster Area. The results of the selection process will not be up for discussion. It will be up to the discretion of the scientific committee to allow a change of presenter if, for some reason, the submitting author isn't able to make a podium presentation.

Although registration is not required for submission, only registered delegates will be allowed to make the paper or poster presentation.

Notification of Acceptance or Rejection to Corresponding Author
Notifications of acceptance or rejection will be sent solely to the submitting (corresponding) author. To ensure you receive these vital communications, make sure that emails from us are not flagged as spam by your email provider. It is the responsibility of the submitting author to inform all co-authors, including the presenting author, about the abstract's status. Authors with accepted abstracts will receive clear instructions for their presentation.
